Betty Strickland   Ms Strickland, President of Pryce Consultants, has over 30 years experience in sterile processing is a national/international speaker, a member of Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and the Association of pariOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) Working Committees for Recommended Practices, and is an IAHCSMM instructor for CA Certification.

Arthur Henderson RN, BA, CNOR Arthur is a Clinical Education Specialist representing STERIS Corporation. Areas of responsibility include education, clinical support, troubleshooting, and issues concerning sterilization and infection control.

Prior to STERIS, Mr. Henderson was the Assistant Manager of the main Operating Room of a 327 bed acute care hospital in Northern California . He has also held the position of Clinical Educator of peri-

Rose Seavey   RN, BS, MBA, CNOR, CRCST, CSPDT President/CEO of Seavey Healthcare Consulting, Inc, Rose is formerly the Director of the Sterile Processing Department at The Children's Hospital of Denver . Ms Seavey was elected to the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) Board of Directors for 2008-2010. She was honored with AORN's award for Outstanding Achievement in Clinical Nurse Education in 2001.

Rose served as the President of the American Society of Healthcare Central Service Professionals (ASHCSP) in 2003 and is the

2002 recipient of ASHCSP National Educator of the Year award. Rose was selected as one of the Who's Who in Infection Prevention in 2006 by Infection Control Today.

Ms Seavey is a member of several AAMI working group committees that are developing recommended practices and is currently a co-chair for the ANSI/AAMI Working Group for Hospital Steam Sterilizers performance standards. In addition she has lectured and authored many articles on various topics relating to perioperative services and sterile processing, locally, nationally and internationally.

and has help build many surgical instrument prototypes. He has consulted for instrument manufactures both in the United States and in Germany . One of Larry's passions is to share both his knowledge and love for surgical instruments.

Operative Services at a 460 bed acute care hospital in Southern California . Areas of responsibility included developing an orientation program for the operating room, developing and implementing an O.R. internship program for non-OR experienced nurses, coordinated performance improvement programs for peri-operative services, and coordinated staff development. He has over twenty years of experience as a registered nurse and has worked in a variety of specialties including, GI, Open Heart and Neuro Surgery, and Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care.

Mr. Henderson has an Associate Degree in Nursing from Kettering College of Medical Arts, Kettering , OH , Bachelor of Arts in French/English from Atlantic Union College , South Lancaster , MA , Certificates in Health Record Administration Program, Northeastern University , Boston , MA , Alliance Francais, Degree Moyen, Seminaire Adventiste du Saleve, Collonge , France . He is a Certified Nurse-Operating Room (CNOR) since 1994 and is a member of the Association of peri-Operative Registered Nurses, Inc. (AORN), the Society for Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA), and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (APIC).

Rick Weigle  For 15 years Rick Weigle has been the Western Regional Sales Manager & Technical Consultant for Jarit Surgical Instruments; now known as Integra Surgical. Integra's market leading instrument brands: JARIT, Ruggles-Redmond, Padgett, and Omni-Tract Retractors are distributed through Herzog Surgical. Rick and the Herzog team have been certified to teach about the surgical instrument manufacturing process and to instruct on the proper care and handling of these incredible life saving devices. Previous to Integra/JARIT, Rick was a Certified Stapling
Technician for US Surgical (Auto Suture) where he was certified to scrub and provide technical assistance in the operating room. Rick started in the instrument business in 1987 as a sales representative for Aesculap in Los Angeles . Rick received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University in 1984.
Larry Shields  Larry is a military trained surgical technician. Since1970 Larry has been working in the surgical industry. 11 years as a surgical technician with 3 of those years as a SPD manager, 28 years in sales and service. Have degrees in Business and in Liberal Arts. Larry has been employed by Herzog Surgical since 1981, during this time he has developed the Herzog Surgical instrument repair / maintenance program, worked with Genesis Medical as a research and development consultant

Larry Wright   Larry Wright has been with STERIS Corporation for 14 year. In his current position as West Zone Service Director, he has responsibility for service operations in 10 western states. Larry holds a BS degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Dayton and has been in the Field Service industry for most of his career.
